NPHI Welcomes Peter Benjamin as Newest Strategic Advisor

– The National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI), the national voice for not-for-profit hospice providers, extends a warm welcome to Peter Benjamin who will serve as a Strategic Advisor to NPHI, effective immediately.

Peter will serve NPHI concurrently with his role as a Partner at the Huntington Consulting Group – which he established in 1996. Prior to Huntington, Peter was the Vice President of Marketing at VITAS Healthcare and brings an extensive background in sales, marketing, product management, and consulting. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Intermountain Home Health, based in Salt Lake City. Peter resides in Miami, Florida with his wife, and business partner, Kate Callahan, PhD. Together, they are passionate about advance care planning – a topic that is woven into Peter’s work history.

Last month Peter addressed NPHI Membership by giving a keynote at the 2023 NPHI Annual Summit. He spoke about the benefits hospice care provides to the nation, thanked members for their tireless efforts, and discussed the transition of value-based hospice and palliative care. His unwavering commitment is to defend the interests of the mission-driven hospice community and to help NPHI members to adapt to changes in their local communities.

“I look forward to working closely with NPHI Members to leverage their hospice experiences and competencies to assure their continued relevance in providing end-of-life care in a value-based world,” said, Peter. “We will work to develop mutually beneficial relationships and help NPHI Members understand key trends and changing models of care.”
